Québec 1775: Blizzards and battle

Starting June 7, 2024, the Plains of Abraham Museum will present its new temporary exhibition Québec 1775: Blizzards and battle.

This immersive exhibition relates a very important moment in the history of the Plains of Abraham, of Quebec City and the entire North American: the attack on Québec City by American revolutionaries. This attack marked one of the first major military operations of the American War of Independence.

The exhibition focuses on the people who lived through the conflict, and the difficult conditions in which the winter siege took place.

Through the works of six artists, supported by digital media, you will relive the torments, dilemmas and exploits of ordinary people plunged into an out-of-the-ordinary situation.
